I started looking at birds when I was 6 years and living in New Jersey. My interest in birds soon blossomed into a lifetime hobby that has taken me all over the U.S. Not wanting to limit myself to the U.S., I soon discovered birding south of the border and to other destinations throughout the world. This hobby soon transitioned into leading bird watching tours to different parts of the world such as Panama, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Antarctica. However, I still love to bird in the U.S. and, specifically, Arizona which holds many fond avian memories for me. I am happy to share my knowledge of the birds of the Verde Valley with you.
