Join Hank and Priscilla Brodkin, co-authors of the “Butterflies of Arizona – A Photographic Guide” for a class on butterfly and dragonfly observation and ID. Learn how to use the skills you already know as a birder to watch these winged wonders. The field trip that afternoon gives you the opportunity to put what you have learned into practice. Hank will be taking the group over to Page Springs when the afternoon warmth brings out the butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies. Close-focusing binoculars are a real advantage for this sport, but bring what you have and prepare for the afternoon sun.
