On this amazing photography tour, we will visit Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River and the upper and lower sections of Antelope Canyon. We begin near Page, AZ where we will spend the afternoon photographing Lower Antelope Canyon. That evening we return to the hotel for dinner, a photo class and critique of photos. Day two we drive south of Page to photograph Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River. There is a one-mile hike to the edge of the 1,000’ cliffs through sand and over a small hill on a well-defined trail. Mid-day will find us at Upper Antelope Canyon, the most famous slot canyon in northern Arizona. Mid-afternoon we head back to Cottonwood arriving late afternoon. To photograph Horseshoe Bend you will need a wide-angle lens 14mm to 16mm. For the rest of the tour bring lenses from 28mm to 400mm, macro, zoom lenses work well, flash and tripod. Hotel, transportation, meals and all entry fees are included.
